It’s becoming a bit of a habit that I come here blogging in order to escape the dissertation, sweet treats to hand. Blogging definitely is where I step back into the reality that I actually enjoy, talking about clothes & showing you guys what I’ve been wearing.
I’m so happy that I’ve actually managed to wear an outfit fit for the season & not be freezing my bits & bobs off, missed sun a lot.

Christmas Makeup Ideas

Olá queridas, faltam apenas dois dias para o Natal (passou tão rápido), e para vos ajudar na escolha da maquilhagem para este dia tão mágico, seleccionei vários looks e fiz o meu próprio look, assim há ideias para todos os gostos e para todos os estilos!

 Hello my dears, there are only two days left for Christmas (time flies), and to help you with your choice for makeup in this magical day, I chose several looks as well my very own, that way we have many ideas for all tastes and styles!


Se a tua escolha é dramatizar um pouco, inspire-se nesta maquilhagem árabe da Jessie J, com preto, azul brilhante no centro do olho e baton vermelho vibrante.

If your choice is to add a bit of drama, you can inspire on this arabic makeup of Jesse J, with black, bright blue in the center of the eye and vibrant red.


O verde é um tom que identifica imenso o Natal. Para se inspirarem têm o look da Emmy Rossom, com oliva na pálpebra superior, musgo esfumado e verde azulado rente aos cílios inferiores e linha d'água.
Também tem um ligeiro dourado no canto interno e na pálpebra inferior.

Green is a colour that identifies Christmas alot. So to inspire you have Emmy Rossom's look with olive on the upper eyelid, smoky moss and blueish green next to the lower eyelashes and the water line.
There's also a slight golden near the inner corner and inferior eyelid.


O vinho (ou bordô) também é uma opção adorável para o Natal. Experimentem esfumar a sombra bordô em todo o côncavo. O efeito é espantoso como mostra a maquilhagem da Demi Lovato.

Wine (or bordeaux) is also a lovely choice for Christmas. Try to smoke the bordeaux shade all over the concave. The effect is amazing as you can see in Demi Lovato's makeup.


A maquilhagem em tons de dourado, foi a escolha de Aishwarya Rai. Para completar o olhar Indiano esfumou a sombra marrom/café e delineou com preto (muito marcado), nas maçãs do rosto colocou pó bronzeador e iluminador e contornou os lábios marrom e com gloss nude.

Aishwarya Rai's choice was makeup with shades of golden. To complete the Indian look she smoked the brown shadow and outlined with black (very accentuaded), in the cheeks she used taning powder and brightener and painted her lips brown and with gloss nude.


E a minha escolha, utilizei, branco, dourado, castanho e preto (esfumei) utilizei blush cor de rosa
Para os lábios, contornei, e depois coloquei baton nude e o gloss!

And for my choice, I used white, golden, brown and black (smoked), using pink blush,
For the lips, I outlined, then used nude lipstick and gloss!

A long time i wanted to buy a box like this, and a lovely person knowing i wanted this, decided to offer me one, i'm so happy...i'm the luckiest woman because of that. 
Talking now more about the Box...
The Color Pop-up Store is a box with soft colors from Sephora. A cube of plastic that will open and turning into a mini studio makeup.
The box is made ​​of hard plastic and too little drawers. The top side has a locking system to prevent the box from opening, but the material itself is quite fragile, so care demand when loading from one side to the other.
The kit contains: 64 shadows waterproof, 12 cream eyeliners, 6 top coats to eyes, 6 top coats for lips, 48 glosses, 3 blushes, 6 creams that can be used on eyes, cheeks and lips, 3 illuminators, 3 brushes, 1 mirror.
The big question I had was about these palettes of color pigmentation. 
 Luckily I was not disappointed one bit with this. All colors tested (half the palette already) are well pigmented and has beautiful colors.
As for the size, everything is very small, but enough to use enough and get bored. Taking very basic colors or creamy lipsticks, I think the amount is ok for most people. For those who are curious about the size, the box measures 23 x 10.50 cm and is closed with 58 cm wide with little drawers open.
Conclusion, i'm really happy with this new in, really love it, and love the person who gave it to me :)
